adaptation

woah, i've been away from this space for much longer than intended.

with so many new things to adapt to, the days are flying by.  it's all good, just a little bit overwhelming. i've been finding myself observing more than talking lately, not just here but on flickr and on all the blogs i frequent as well.

but that being said, in my state of observation i've collected a bunch of new etsy favorites.  i also spent a good solid hour browsing FJORD and compiled a list of my favorites, but i think i'll save that for another day.

the finale

alas, this (#13) will be the last of the summer pola-pairings from maditi and myself.

autumn is just around the corner in this part of the world and although we're experiencing the typical new england indian summer at the moment the crisp temperatures are not far, nor are the red, orange and yellow leaves.

while i'm on the topic of seasons, i'm really happy to say that winter will hold something special this year. maditi and i have decided to do a winter project because we enjoyed our summer collaboration so much.

thank you maditi, you made my summer extra-special.

learning feels good

so geeky but so true. 

just a short hello from me today, i haven't been in this space in a little while.

i'm up to my eyeballs in readings (of the textbook, research article and essay kinds) but i'm plowing through with an intensity i've never known... for school that is.

my internship started today which means that in a week or two i'll know what my schedule will look and feel like which will allow me to relax at least a little bit.

oh and also, for anyone keeping track, Maditi and i didn't post a summer polaroid pairing last week.  this week should bring you not only last week's pairing (#13) but our very last pola-pairing (#14) as well.  i've really, really enjoyed making art with Maditi and can definitely see more of it in our future ;)

it's still here...

summer that is. week twelve featuring maditi's beautiful polaroid on the right. when she sent me this pairing this week, i had to comment on the cross-continental vibe we've seemingly created. each week i'm fascinated with the subtle similarities between our two pictures.

i want to thank all of you who sent me such warm wishes for my first day of school, it meant so much... i was so nervous. the first day went better than i could have imagined. after my first class i felt immense relief. my nerves, fear and anxiety have now given way to pure excitement. there's just this little issue of homework... lots of it.

i'm off to go get pancakes with Chris but i'll leave you with a few things i've got my eye on...
