isn't this beautiful? my buddy Rachael is the Queen of all that is Holga and she's just opened an etsy shop which you should certainly check out. about 10 of her beautiful Holga shots are being offered, each one is lovelier than the next. two of my favorites are "red parasol" which you see up there and "i want to ride this bicycle"

while i slept last night the paper crane project hit 1000! i'm amazed that it took just little over a month, also i wonder how long it would have taken if Heather Champ hadn't featured it on the flickr blog? i guess i'll never know...

now that the project has made it to 1000 i'm not taking any more names. if you didn't get to participate but really want a paper crane to call your own, you should go over to how about orange? where Jess has linked to some great instructions for folding paper cranes.

i have to focus on getting the rest of the cranes out (which is about 500) and then turn my attention to the end piece. i've been designing the installation in my head for a while now but in reality, i know nothing about installation art. also i know nothing about booking a gallery space or even getting a gallery interested in a project... anyone who does know these things, your input is certainly welcome! since i'll be starting grad school in September i'm thinking that a good time for the show will be next summer. it's all a bundle of thoughts right now, like i said i still have to fold and send 500 cranes!
